dee (with a lower case “d”) Brown debuted his eloquent skills as a guitarist, composer, producer and arranger on his first solo album “No Time to Waste”, released on NuGroove Records in 2007. Brown’s sophomore release “A Little Elbowroom” was inspired by his late father, as well as the influences of several noted Jazz legends such as the great Miles Davis and Wes Montgomery. The Combined Smooth and Soulful sounds on songs such as “Sonny”, “True Reality”, and “It’s Just A Good Feeling” are sure to establish dee’s presence as one of Jazz Music’s rising stars. The new album is a natural evolution of Brown’s earlier sound, moving deeper into the realm of Smooth Soul. The first single, “True Reality”, which was produced by fellow label-mate Nate Harasim, features NuGroove all-star Darren Rahn, who also lends his production talent to other songs on the album.
