This gifted pianist may look young, but he is no freshman to the world of Jazz! Virtuoso Nate Harasim has been playing for over 20 years, starting a straight-ahead jazz group at the age of 16 that went on to open for Norman Brown and Pamela Williams. After spending time jumping  out of helicopters as a rescue swimmer in the US Navy, Harasim first made a splash in the Smooth Jazz scene with his 2007 breakthrough debut "Next In Line". Now he graces us with his Sophomore release on NuGroove Records "Love’s Taken Over". This memorable album features some very talented contemporaries including Darren Rahn and Jay Soto, among others.Love's Taken Over

Nate Harasim is a young musician full of hope. What is the reason for this hope? Still in high school he was already asked as a sideman by Norman Brown, Pamela Williams and Tom Braxton. And you should also be aware that Nate was signed as a Yamaha recording and touring artist. If words cannot convince, there is a simple way to be persuaded: Listen to his debut album Next In Line (2007). It's one thing to master an instrument. But Nate is not only a huge talent like Brian Culpertson (or should I say Bob James), he has that something what music turns into gold. His distinctive feeling for groove and melody mirrors in every track.Next In Line
